CANINE & FELINE Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) CHAMBERS
HBOT enhances the body's natural healing process and can be used for a wide variety of treatments usually as a part of an overall medical care plan.
Why Hyperbaric Chambers?
Vets Worldwide are turning to these chambers as a way of accelerating the recovery of animals after surgery and adding another lucrative cost centre to their practice
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is the medical use of oxygen in a pressurised environment, at a level higher than 1 atmosphere absolute (ATA). Increased pressure allows oxygen to saturate more effectively in the blood system, primarily the plasma (independent of haemoglobin), which yields a broad variety of positive physiological, biochemical and cellular effects.
The aim of Oxypets Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber is to provide a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to your Horse or pets to speed up their recovery from wounds and diseases or improve their health status from body and mental. During animal hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the patient is placed safely and comfortably in a chamber with high purity oxygen at pressure 1.5 to 3ata times that of normal atmospheric pressure. Treatments may last from 1 to 2 hours and are given1 to 3 times daily with at least 4 hours between sessions.
Pet Chamber - Hard Type - For Dogs
Hyperbaric oxygen chambers are pressurised tubes for pets.
In a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, the air pressure is up to three times greater then normal. This causes the lungs to collect up to three times more pure oxygen than is possible when breathing atmospheric oxygen (normally).
The pure oxygen is transported through the body via the blood stream, which encourages the release of growth factors and stem cells that promote healing.

Inside the animal hyperbaric chamber, pets lie on a soft blanket and rest or sleep while the oxygen goes to work on wounds, swelling, burns and other injuries or illnesses. The pets are comfortable and relaxed during Dog/Cat HBOT therapy.
The total veterinary HBOT treatment time is from 1 to 2 hours and is usually repeated 2x a day. Treatments continue until the Vet sees a marked improvement. When your pet is beginning to use the affected limb or is gaining strength and function, the treatments are discontinued.
